It should feel like a very good hire, minus the hiring.

From first brief to a normal week.

From first message to delivery

First contact

Send a project

Send a real project. Michelle, a designer, not a salesperson, replies in writing with a fixed fee.

Setup, once

Onboarding

We learn your standards like a new hire: templates, title blocks, vendors. We work in your tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, MyDoma). Once, and it compounds. NDA first.

Scope

The full brief

Brief us like your own designer: a markup, a voice note, a Pinterest board. We confirm scope in writing.

Optional

Direction first

When a client isn't sure yet, we settle direction first: a Pinterest board or a ChatGPT concept. Cheap, and before the slow modeling.

The work

Production

We produce. You design. Two revision rounds in every fee. Scope grows? A written change order first.

The order

Model first, drawings last

Most studios draw plans first, then a model. The model exposes what the plans got wrong, so the plans get drawn twice.

We build the model first. You judge it while changes are free, then the drawings come off an approved design. One pass, not two. Want plans first? Your call.

Delivery

Your review, your name

Michelle reviews everything first. You present it as your firm’s work, because it is.

A real reply, numbers redacted

A written reply, not a scheduling link. It looks like this:

SubjectRe: Kitchen + primary bath

Thanks for the brief. The inspiration board helps more than you'd think.

Scope as I read it: space plan for the kitchen and primary bath, elevations for both, six photoreal views (four kitchen, two bath), FF&E spec sheet in your template.

Fixed fee: · Delivery: business days from go-ahead · Two revision rounds included.

If you'd rather phase it, the kitchen alone is .

Best, Michelle

Fewer calls. Better work.

We get on a call when a call will move your project forward. The rest of the time, you get something more useful than a meeting.

A Loom walkthrough

Every delivery comes with a video. Michelle walks you through the design and the 3D model and explains why each decision was made. Watch it when it suits you. Pause it. Send it to your client.

A Google Drive folder

Renderings, drawings and specs in one place, always the latest version. Nothing buried in an email thread.

Good catch. Both options are in the Drive folder now, with a note on each.

Email first

Email is how we like to work. You get a written answer you can forward and find again. We call when it counts: a big decision or a tricky site condition.

This system comes from more than 500 projects, from whole houses and commercial fit-outs to a single bathroom. It works on every one.

Most studios book a call every couple of days. We don't. Every call is time taken away from your design, and focus is what gets you good work on schedule. So trust the process. It's built to protect your project.

How relationships grow

Pilot project

Fixed scope, fixed fee. You keep the work either way.

Per project

The default. We quote it, you quote your client.

Retainer

Reserved monthly capacity. No re-quoting every job.

Overflow hourly

The odd small thing that doesn't warrant a scope.

What a week looks like

Monday you send a brief. Tuesday, questions. Midweek, drafts in your format. Friday you're reviewing, not producing.
